Hi!
Good Day to Users of V94.3 Siemens GT:
We have recently experienced a failure of the Natural Gas (NG) Unloading Valve (solenoid-operated valve) coil on a Siemens V94.3 gas turbine during unit operation. The issue involved overheating of the 220V DC coil, leading to melting of the coil body and unintentional valve actuation, resulting in NG release and subsequent unit trip.
We are currently reviewing the root cause and exploring permanent corrective actions.
In this regard, we would like to kindly ask if any of you have encountered a similar issue at your site:
Any feedback or shared experience from your side would be highly appreciated and will support us in determining a robust and reliable solution.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation.
