i'd like to ask about serial communication sir or mam...how should i control serial communication through vb6 programming...for i've been working on a certain project...

 

Here you go: MS article on using Win32 API for driving a serial port. When I wrote port code (in another language), I found that you HAVE to use overlapped I/O to avoid deadlocks when closing the port, etc.
