I have problem starting Vijeo Designer 4.6 on Windows Vista Profesional SP1. After starting Vijeo Designer (DEP off, run as administator), pops up window with message:

"Application Has Halted
Cannot open the system configuration file.
Is the -d option set correctly?
KAOScore: PortableKernelParams.cpp : line 508"

I have tried everything and I'm out off ideas. Need help urgently.

You can install run it on Vista Business edition.

 

That does not solve the problem. It has to be installed on that machine with that OS. It is problem with Vista compatibility, and I need solution.

 

Just to say that, I'v resolved the problem. I'v monitored the processes, after starting Vijeo designer, and found that Vijeo can't initialize some .dll files. So I hade to register them manualy, and do some registry tweaking.
Strange for Schnieder...
