AutoStore, a global provider of warehouse automation solutions, has launched its Fall 2025 product portfolio. The launch introduces seven new solutions designed to increase efficiency, simplify installation, and cut operational costs in warehouses.

The release comes amid rapid transformation in the fulfillment sector as retailers and logistics providers face tighter delivery timelines, labor shortages, and mounting cost pressures. AutoStore’s latest offerings aim to help facilities handle higher volumes in less space while maintaining flexibility across industries such as grocery, healthcare, and e-commerce.

Automating Case and Item Handling

Leading AutoStore’s Fall 2025 release is AutoCase, a system that automates the loading and unloading of full cases. This technology allows warehouses to move entire cases into storage and then pick individual units from the cases until depletion. By merging case handling and piece-picking within a single workflow, AutoCase aims to support higher throughput and consistent shelf availability, particularly during peak periods.

Expanding Storage Versatility

Another key addition to the launch is FlexBins, which enables multiple bin sizes to be stored within a single AutoStore Grid. This enhancement enables operators to manage a broader range of stock keeping units (SKUs) without compromising speed or storage density. By accommodating diverse product dimensions, FlexBins aims to address a long-standing challenge in warehouse optimization by balancing variety with efficiency.

Frozen-Only Grid Targets Cold-Chain Operations

AutoStore has also released the Frozen-Only Grid system, expanding its Multi-Temperature Solution for frozen goods storage. This system is engineered for environments where maintaining consistent low temperatures is both vital and costly.  The dedicated frozen configuration is designed to improve energy efficiency, reduce employee exposure to harsh conditions, and deliver the same reliability as ambient operations.

For industries such as frozen food logistics and pharmaceutical distribution, where temperature integrity directly impacts product quality, this innovation could significantly reduce overhead while improving worker safety.

Software and Infrastructure Enhancements

Beyond new hardware, AutoStore has also introduced updates to its CarouselAI software platform. The latest version optimizes bin placement for faster retrieval, refines outbound routing, and adds support for lightweight items. These improvements are designed to boost throughput and provide more adaptable fulfillment workflows.

Additional infrastructure-focused updates include:

  • Fire Standards: A redesigned, lower-pressure sprinkler system that cuts installation costs by up to 35%, reducing build times without compromising safety.
  • Floor Flatness: A laser-scanning and shim-based system that eliminates costly pre-installation floor grinding, speeding up project deployment.
  • CubeDeploy: A single-step installer that simplifies software updates, minimizing downtime and maintaining system security.

Advancing Warehouse Automation

AutoStore’s Fall 2025 launch follows a series of product updates introduced earlier in the year, including CarouselAI for robotic piece-picking and VersaPort for adaptable workstation workflows. The company also expanded its Pio line, which is aimed at smaller enterprises, and partnered with OnePointOne on Opollo Farm, a fully robotic vertical farm that now supplies Whole Foods.

With the addition of AutoCase, FlexBins, and the Frozen-Only Grid, AutoStore continues to broaden its range of modular fulfillment technologies. These developments reflect ongoing efforts across the automation sector to improve scalability, energy efficiency, and flexibility in warehouse operations.
