In a compact form factor, at just 32 mm in thickness and 270 g in weight, the new HMI solution can neatly fit in compact control cabinets and OEM machine enclosures while maintaining a professional space-efficient operator interface. The cMT2058XH (W) comes equipped with a quad-core RISC processor with 4 GB Flash memory and 1 GB RAM, delivering responsive multitasking and fast rendering capabilities of HTML5 content.

For visibility in an angled or tight panel location, the 4.3-inch 800 by 480 WVA display provides an 80° viewing angle in all directions.

Flexible Monitoring From Any Workstation

The cMT2058XH (W) is equipped with native HTML5 compatibility and allows users to access SCADA dashboards, data from machines, and custom web-based applications without needing extra software installation. For setup, diagnostics, and parameter modifications, the WebView interface of the new HMI solution can be directly accessed by simply entering the HMI's IP address into the browser.

A key feature of the panel is its Chrome browser update system that ensures compatibility with modern web technologies and continual support of long-term functionality over time through system updates. This flexible approach makes the unit suitable for distributed monitoring from any workstation where quick access to real-time data is essential.

Dual Ethernet for IT/OT Integration

The cMT2058XH (W) comes equipped with two Ethernet ports with LAN1 supporting speeds up to 1000 Mbps and LAN2 offers speeds up to 100 Mbps. This setup enables users to isolate OT and IT networks, connect multiple subnets, and link additional devices without needing external switches. Additionally, a USB 2.0 host port provides compatibility with peripheral and data logging applications.

Engineered for Harsh Industrial Environments

The new panel features a four-wire resistive touch and is designed with a front panel that meets NEMA 4 and IP66 standards, offering protection against moisture, dust, and washdown conditions. The HMI is CE and UL certified and operates effectively in temperatures ranging from 0 to 50°C.

The panel also features coated PCBs for additional protection and enhanced durability. To reduce maintenance needs, the new HMI includes a fanless system, built-in power isolation, and resistance to vibration, which further improves long-term reliability in industrial environments.

Addressing the Need for Compact, Web-Based HMIs

As modern industrial environments continue to embrace lightweight, compact browser-driven interfaces, HMI solutions like Weintek’s new cMT2058XH (W) compact web panel stand in as a potential solution for modernizing operator interfaces without the footprint of traditional HMI panels.

With Weintek’s new cMT2058XH (W), users can benefit from a balance of connectivity, performance, and industrial durability for their control stations and distributed SCADA access points across factory floors.
