Weintek Expands cMTX Series HMIs with Web & Multi-View Models
Weintek has expanded its cMTX Series HMIs to allow users to view multiple HMIs simultaneously with the iV models or access their HMIs via a webpage with the W series.
Operational efficiency is driven by data, and with today’s technology, it is possible to have all the information you need in the palm of your hand. While HMIs have always been a game changer for receiving or viewing data about your machine, nowadays, it's even possible to get the same information from a tablet or smartphone. With that in mind, Weintek has recently expanded its advanced cMTX series of HMI’s to now include web panels (W) to view data in real-time or access or manage multiple HMI’s simultaneously with a built-in cMT Viewer (iV). These new additions give their customers more flexibility and capabilities in the design of their automated systems.

Access your Machine via the Web
Weintek has expanded its current HMI lineup with its new HTML5 Web Panels: the cMT3108XP (W) and cMT3162X (W). These HMIs feature built-in web browsers for easy access to real-time information that can allow management, maintenance personnel, or production personnel access to built-in web browsers that can provide information on predictive maintenance information or sensitive machine data. With a straightforward setup requiring just one Ethernet cable, users can quickly connect to PLC webpages and SCADA systems. The panels boast high-resolution screens (1280x800 and 1920x1080) with an impressive viewing angle, ensuring clear and vivid data visualization for effective monitoring and analysis.

Monitor or Manage Multiple HMIs From A Single Panel
Weintek’s cMT3108XP (iV) and cMT3162X (iV) will also feature a built-in application called cMT Viewer. This application allows operators to monitor and control multiple HMIs at the same time, making it incredibly easy for users to monitor and manage their systems at the same time through the use of multi-user monitoring.

The cMT Viewer can monitor from up to six HMIs simultaneously and can provide real-time updates on equipment status. Weintek has also prioritized security by using TLS encryption to protect communication data during transmission. It also includes a safety feature that allows for locking specific buttons to prevent unauthorized access, thereby enhancing overall safety during operations.
All the Specs
Both the iV and W models will feature a high-capacity LCD touchscreen that offers a wide viewing angle. They are currently available in two sizes: 10 inches (cMT3108XP) and 15 inches (cMT3162X). Both models will be equipped with a quad-core RISC processor, 4GB of flash memory, and 1GB of RAM. These HMIs will support OPC UA and Modbus TCP protocols and will have connectivity options through USB 2.0 or Ethernet. These panels are NEMA4 certified and have an IP66 rating, allowing these devices to be used in some of the toughest working environments.
HMIs are utilized in nearly every modern industrial piece of equipment, including machining applications, robot tending, the food and beverage industry, and even the medical sector. Therefore, it has become almost essential for these systems to enable customers to access real-time information about their machines from any location.
