GE FRAME 9E GAS TO LDO FUEL CHANGEOVER , SOLINOID 20PL-1 DEENERGIZE TIMING AFTER OPERATOR COMMAND INITIATE.
ECS 9E, I have had trouble reading and interpreting you posts--all of them, before and now. You seem to purposely neglect responding to direct questions--such as how much flow do you see coming from the Tell-Tale Leakoff (the pipe from VA19-1 that drains into the gas turbine/oily waste tank...

Ge mark 5 download
Takieddine27, That's one of the "benefits" of using AutoCalibrate--it automatically changes the regulator type for an SRV. So, it's not necessary to change the regulator type for an SRV when using AutoCalibrate for any purpose when working on an SRV.

Fluctuating (Hunting) of SRV valve at MS6001 B Gas Turbine Power Plant With Triconex Controller
All that's required is typical tuning--a small overshoot, a smaller undershoot and and easy transition to steady-state. No overshoot could make for problems during high speed transient conditions. This LVDT dilemma is typical of many PLC-based turbine control systems--the need for converters...

Fluctuating (Hunting) of SRV valve at MS6001 B Gas Turbine Power Plant With Triconex Controller
richatpurba, Thanks very much for the feedback!!! All the Mark* cares about from an LVDT is that the feedback is linear as the device moves from mechanical stop to mechanical stop. And, the GE specifications say that with an excitation voltage of approximately 7.0 VAC RMS at approximately 3.0...

GE FRAME 9E GAS TO LDO FUEL CHANGEOVER , SOLINOID 20PL-1 DEENERGIZE TIMING AFTER OPERATOR COMMAND INITIATE.
The general sequence of events for a liquid-to-gas fuel transfer is that when the transfer is initiated the liquid fuel forwarding pumps are started and the stop valve at that skid is opened (usually 20FD-1). This is to fill the lines up to the liquid fuel stop valve, because many times fuel...

GE FRAME 9E GAS TO LDO FUEL CHANGEOVER , SOLINOID 20PL-1 DEENERGIZE TIMING AFTER OPERATOR COMMAND INITIATE.
One more question--just to satisfy the curiosity of a few of us: Are you sure the unit has DLN 2.1 combustors? I ask because for a couple of decades GE B/E-class machines only were sold with DLN-I combustion systems. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if GE (specifically, GE Belfort) had a...

GE FRAME 9E GAS TO LDO FUEL CHANGEOVER , SOLINOID 20PL-1 DEENERGIZE TIMING AFTER OPERATOR COMMAND INITIATE.
Please be more specific about the amount of "leakage" and the duration of the "leakage." On your system, is liquid fuel flowing from the high-pressure liquid fuel pump BEFORE 20LPL-1 is de-energized? Finally, on your system is 20PL-1 a NO (Normally Open) or NC (Normally Closed) valve? And is...

Unit trips on "loss of flame" immediately after firingg
Well, ..., I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night. And, I do have Android phones. And, I've been doing this for more than 35 years; I should have learned something in that time. I'm just fortunate that I seem to be able to explain things to people (well, sometimes). I always try to...

Unit trips on "loss of flame" immediately after firingg
Sirtaurus12, The SRV--because its purpose is to control P2 pressure and it will go to whatever position it needs to go to in order to make the actual P2 pressure equal to the P2 pressure reference--will not "snap" open (like the GCV does) during firing. If it did that, the P2 pressure would...

Power Plant Load and Frequency fluctuation - 3 Steam Turbines - Woodward 505E - Power Plant Connected to the Public Grid.
KevinCanada, Thank you for the drawings; the one-line diagram is not fully visible, but what I was looking for was if the three STGs (steam turbine-generators) were all individually equipped with step transformers before the bus, and if I interpret the drawing correctly there are independent...

Unit trips on "loss of flame" immediately after firingg
Sirtaurus12, WHAT ALARMS ARE BEING ANNUNCIATED PRIOR TO AND DURING THE FIRING ATTEMPT? BOTH Process Alarms AND Diagnostic Alarms. And, SPECIFICALLY, is the Process Alarm LOSS OF FLAME TRIP being annunciated when the START attempt fails? How long AFTER flame is established does the loss of...

Power Plant Load and Frequency fluctuation - 3 Steam Turbines - Woodward 505E - Power Plant Connected to the Public Grid.
KevinCanada, What does the control system integrator who provided the Woodward 505E's say about the problem??? What are they doing to try to help with the resolution? What has been done to try to help resolve the problem? And, most importantly, what were the results of the efforts to try to...

IGV Operational Principle
Lasha TPP, If this is something which started recently, then you should be looking at inputs like CTIM and CPD and the Performance Monitor inputs AFPCS, AFPAP and AFPBD. You may also look at the pressure transducer signals coming from the IBH system. You can also look at what is possible...

It would be necessary to see the program and configuration running in the Mark* at your site. 6F machines fall under the purview of GE Belfort--who has been changing long-standing philosophies and practices.

ME42, I'm not familiar with the command for modifying/creating, verifying and then downloading topology to the VCMI. (cheedee is using an .m6b file from a different unit and I believe part of his issues are related to getting the right topology downloaded to the VCMIs.) He has been directed...
