7EA fire damper caused trip
My only comment is that often there are limit switches on the load compartment dampers which will alarm when they are not in the correct position. But, looking back at the Alarm Log would show that, if they are not rusted in place.

GR Frame 9e Compressor Efficiency Become Little Less as Compare to Another Operational Units
Curious_One, I notice you are tip-toeing around the edges of this thread.... I would really like to help the original poster, but the language barrier and the scattered nature of the replies without trying to put the information in a more understandable format is just too difficult. And, I...

GE 9FA Gas Turbine - Fuel Changeover Load
Tresna, I really can't say what happened at your site with the PLC-based control system. We don't know how the control system was programmed to perform a fuel changeover or how the control system was programmed to handle Droop Speed Control and CPD-biased exhaust temperature control and...

Drop in control oil to 55 PSI, and Nozzle goes to current suicide during loading
h_alqubati, Can you be specific about how you test the polarity of the servo currents being applied to the NGV servo valve coils? It doesn't have to be specific, I just want to know you're NOT using the procedure usually supplied in the Control Specification, and if you are can you tell me what...

Drop in control oil to 55 PSI, and Nozzle goes to current suicide during loading
Another thought just occurred to me, I believe the Aux. L.O. Pump has a check valve in it's discharge, and the flapper of the check valve has a hole drilled in it (not that the hole has anything to do with the problem--it just shocks some people when they see it! and they think there's a problem...

Drop in control oil to 55 PSI, and Nozzle goes to current suicide during loading
h_alqubati, I don't know what a Zero overhaul is (I'm not familiar with two-shaft maintenance terminology), so I don't know what was done. And without access to the Control Oil and L.O. P&IDs I'm not 100% sure where the Control Oil comes from--though it usually comes from the Main L.O. Pump...

Drop in control oil to 55 PSI, and Nozzle goes to current suicide during loading
h_alqubati, 1) When does the control oil pressure decrease--is it just before and during the nozzle problems, or is it just something which was noticed after the maintenance outage? 2) What is the normal control oil pressure for this machine (in other words, what was it before the maintenance...

And, don't discount the GE Belfort factor, either. If they're not contributing to the solution, they are contributing to the problem.

Irfan ahmed qureshi, First, the language/translation issue is making it difficult (for me, at least) to understand most of the technical information you are trying to convey. Second, you seem to have this idea that we know or should know all the differences of the six machines at your site...

After black out when diesel engine will stop.
AshutoshMendiratta, What you describe is true for a GE-design heavy duty gas turbine with a diesel starting means. It's not clear exactly what the original poster is referring to, but it seems most likely he is referring to a diesel-generator in a power plant that is used to provide power to...

bahram, I wrote either 700 deg F or 900 deg F because when I was writing it I didn't have access to older software to look up the actual value and my feeble mind couldn't remember if the actual value was 700 deg F or 900 deg F. It is 700 deg F. The value was determined by monitoring dynamic...

GR Frame 9e Compressor Efficiency Become Little Less as Compare to Another Operational Units
I have one comment regarding the 40 MW shortfall. If I understand correctly, the 24-hour shift report recorded a loss of 40 MW. Divide 40 MW by 24 hours and one arrives at an average loss of 1.67 MW per hour. And, was this 40 MW shortfall versus the previous 24 hours, or 24 hours one week ago...
