I am trying to import routing connections from Excel into a 3D Layout Space (no 2D schematics in this project). EPLAN recognizes the columns, but 90% of the lines fail with: "The source and/or target of the routing connection are not placed in layout space."
The setup (see attached images):
My questions:

The setup (see attached images):
- Format: I am using the full DT with connection point designations (e.g., ). ==H26014007R=+PRM_J100-B1.1:1
- Placement: All components are definitely placed in the 3D Layout Space.
- Indices: I have "Internal" set in the Internal/External index columns.
My questions:
- Could the "Internal" string in the Index column be the problem? Should I leave it empty for 3D routing? (but without it the terminals break and don't wire properly)
- Since there is no 2D, do I need to explicitly map a "Function definition" (like "Conductor / wire") for EPLAN to "see" the 3D connection points?
- Is there a hidden project setting for 3D-only projects that enables external connection routing?
