Hi Rajesh,

Suggestions:

1. try a Google search on: hvac ddc

2. look at: http://www.ashrae.or, or http://www.cibse.org/ or http://www.deltacontrols.com/news/industrylinks.html

3. Ask your local HVAC control equiment suppliers if they have any application notes they can provide.

4. See if you can get hold of the Honeywell publication "Engineering Manual for Automatic Control of Commercial Buildings" Library of Congress Card No 97-77856.

The American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air-conditioning Engineers is the relevant industry society. They're at http://www.ashrae.org I see SBT on Googles first page of results when you ask for hvac controls. And when you search with Google for hvac controls manufacturers, the first page turns up a DDC primer at www.AutomatedBuildings.com which is an electronic newsletter/website where most of the controls manufacturers advertise. HVAC control is a very interesting industry, especially for computer engineers.

Order the H&BC (Home and Building Controls) Fundamentals Tutor CD, H&BC - 1614, from Honeywell if it still available.

Synopsis - This computer-based training course provides an introduction to control concepts and components.
In addition, the HBC Fundamentals Tutor presents a historical product overview for Honeywell automation systems. This information is presented graphically supplemented with text and animation. There are review questions and practice sessions to help the learner progress in the course.

I don't think it is available from their web site. You must call Honeywell and order it. It was free at one time.
