What brand and models of differential pressure transmitter (1000 inWg), may be used for anti-surge protection of large gas compressors? Maximum response time 150 ms.

A Rosemount model 3051 range 3, fits you range and has a response time of 100 mSec.

Most of all the manufacturers offers product in the range with a comparable response time. Some of the vendors we are using are

1) Yokogawa EJA series DP transmitters with around 125ms response time. Their EJX series transmitters offer around 95ms response time.
2) Honeywell ST3000 series offers around 150 ms response time.
3) Rosemount 3051 CD series offers around 100 ms response time.


These response times are for typical 4-20 mA systems. For Fieldbus version response time of transmitters may be slower. (eg: rosemount 3051 CD ranges 2-5 for 4-20 mA system - response time is 100ms. Same under fieldbus protocol is about 152 ms). Take a note that even with in the same series of products of a single manufacturer – different ranges can have different response times.
