We have got centrifugal compressor driven by PGT-10 gas turbine, having bleed valves at 6 & 10 stage which are not closing after building up of pressure though the axial compressor discharge pressure reaches the required value. we have checked the SOV which is working well. what might be the reason for not operation of bleed valve?

try to check the limit switch on bleed valve which is probably need adjusting or replace.

 

Where is this PGT 10 located. We are searching for PGT 10 users??? We are also one of the users of PGT 10.

Have you checked voltage at solenoid terminal before and after energized?

There may be a change for blown fuse at control panel?
