Can't ping Bentley Nevada although the values are visible!

So we have changed the old network switches from which I could ping Bentley Nevada and RX3i but with the new ones I cant ping them alyhough I can see their values on the HMI.How can I resolve the problem?

We need more information.
Were the old switches Allied Telesis and the new ones are Cisco? Are the VLAN's the same on the new switches?
Hello, also the old ones were Cisco, albeit a newer switch model. No the new VLANs have changed, the number of the ports is not the same.I can ping from the HMIs the Mark VI but I cant ping the Bentley Nevada or RX3i,but i can see their values on the HMI!So the Bentley Nevada is really connected I just cant ping it

Are the Bently and RX3i connected to the 201 or 101 network? Are they talking EGD or Modbus or...?
If they are on the 201 network, you may have a NIC card or cable issue in your HMI on the 201 side.
If they are talking Modbus, they may be on a different network entirely. Very hard to troubleshoot without drawings or knowing what changed.

The main question is; How does the Mark VI get the data from Bently and RX3i? If you can find that, you should be able to ping on that network and maybe something is stopping that from the HMI.

So they are on the EGD network. They are on the 101 network.MARK VI gets the data from them through an ethernet connection, from Bently Nevada to the MARK VI,and I can see the data in the HMI,I just cannot ping the Bently Nevada

Hello,
Were you able to fix the above concern . I am facing the same issue " data acquisition from BN are healthy however the ping from HMI is not possible
PS: when I bypass the CISCO switch and connect my laptop directly to BN I am able to ping , I believe the restriction is in the switch
Please share the solution if you were able to fix . Thanks
