I am trying to show CCTV footage on Factory Talk View SE HMI. CCTV is linked to DVR which is bringing Digital images and having its own software run by activeX. I am trying to show these footage via activeX on Factory Talk view but do not know how to acomplish it. I have added the respective activeX Control to Factory Talk View HMI but when i test it, it gives blank black colour window. Is there anything I would have to do to complete this?

Hi,

Try to use the ActiveX in other program such as MS Excel's VBA or on another PC to discard Factory Talk View HMI as the cause of problem.

If your DVR's brand is good, it is possible to find the Activex commands (VBA) calling the support guys.

BTW, what brand are you using?

I am using Samsung SRD 830D. I have got the activeX for that and pulled in Factory Talk View but do not know how to call all the methods to get it working. How do we configure that with vb to get fotage?
