I'm in the process of converting some AB 1200 Panel views to Cimplicity HMI.

I'm running into a problem writing a to point that I'm trying to manipulate on the write. I have floating points being read from the AB 5/40 that is being displayed (Point / 12) and I need to write the point (Point * 12). When I set the object to write to the plc the following error is produced...'To have an inplace edit on an object the expression must be a single point. Array point cannot be used with inplace edits.'

I know a few ways I can get this done in the PLC but the amount of points makes this options less than desirable. Any help to allow me to perform this in Cimplicity HMI would be greatly appreciated.

Use the "conversion" box in point configuration to scale points.

Are you using CIMPLICITY Machine Edition, or CIMPLICITY HMI/SCADA (used to be Plant Edition)?
