We are going to install harmonic filter which is tuned on fifth Harmonic level. Now, at the site of installation we have bound for place and we have only place below the 11kV HT line. Our filter is comprised by Residual Voltage Transformer, Reactors and HT Capacitors. Now the question arise that how much safe clearance required between the HT Line and HT filter?

 

Karan... if you were in the USA, you would need to comply with NEC Article 110-III. However, if the equipment is associated with supply or service components then you are required to refer to ANSI/III C2, National Electrical Safety Code!
