Communication with Serial Device using Intellution IFIX SCADA

I wish to use a serial device (humidity transmitter) which outputs serial data (e.g.: RH= 43.0 %RH T= 21.0 'C). The serial interface does not echo any commands. The frame rate can be set as required. I wish to use this frame and display the readings as real-time on a PC using IFIX software. Please let me know how to configure IFIX to support this.
