Please suggest how to simulate pump to run from default trip in CS3000 test function.

When it is in trip, i think you will get MAN mode change. Then operation/instrumentation people will see the Actual device and they start from local/field. Else if you want to start from DCS, you will get healthy signal of Trip input.automatically your pump faceplate will go to normal. in test fucntion just make Trip siganl as Healthy..

Actually you might be having two nputs run feedback and trip. When the pump trips, both the inputs will be abnormal..say Run feedback.pv=0 and make Trip siganl.pv=0(trip).

So again make trip signal.pv=1(normal/healthy) then start the pump from dcs, it will wait for feedbcak to come..make run feedback.pv=1
