Can you please help me to know the meaning of saturation of CT?

Technically, this is where a further increase in primary current does not produce a proportional increase in output current because the magnetic core is becoming saturated. A large DC component dramatically increases the chances for saturation of the core. A gap in the core is often used to limit flux and delay saturation.
