A few days ago, all 3 RTD cards I have in a DeltaV (v7.4) carrier stared dropping intermittently. Every few minutes, the red Error light comes on, and I get "Not Enabled" errors while looking at Diagnostics.

Other cards aren't doing this - except I do see it on a serial card too.

Anybody else seen this? Thanks.

 

Some times lightning strikes damage the card channels, but in this case I think the problem may be in the wiring or in the termination block itself. Also, there is a DeltaV 32 terminal Termination block that looks like the RTD termination block but has a different pin out, check if the termination block say on the back "for RTD cards"
