Don't Assume Every 1000W Magnetron Is the Same

I recently repaired a household microwave oven and initially thought any 1000W magnetron would work. After comparing the original part, I realized there were differences in both the model and mounting configuration.

The replacement we selected was the Pindom 2M246-15TAG, which matched the original 1000W, 2450MHz, and air-cooled specifications. Taking a few extra minutes to verify the model saved us from ordering the wrong part.

If you're replacing a magnetron, always compare the original specifications before purchasing.
