Don't Choose a Replacement Magnetron by Power Alone

We recently replaced a magnetron on one of our microwave heating units. At first, we assumed that any 880W model would work, but after checking the original part more carefully, we found that the mounting structure was different.

The replacement we eventually used was the Pindom 2M253J (Short Leg), which matched the six-hole base, air-cooling design, and 2450MHz operating frequency of our equipment. Installation was much smoother because the mechanical configuration matched the original component.

If you're replacing a magnetron, checking the mounting structure is just as important as checking the power rating.
