ESD relay

Hello,
We have a few drives and DOL starters which will be provided by others( in an MCC)We will supply an ESD panel which will house a safety relay and expansion modules. The proposal is to leave dry contacts in the ESD panel for each of the drives/starters to be wired into. I assume that the voltage to wet the contacts will come from the control voltage in the MCC. Has anyone carried out a similar project/installation?

Thanks

It’s much easier to have Safety Relays housed in the MCC; is there a specific reason why they are separate / could your MCC supplier provide.

Otherwise yes, you would use the MCC control supply.

I believe it was just the way the client split the scope. The safety relays are in a panel separate from the MCC which we are supplying so it made sense to leave dry contacts for the MCC vendor to wire into.

Thanks
