I have an error code on a GE Mark V Exciter EX2000 (FL 170....IA1 FAIL) would anyone know what could generally cause this fault?

170 IA1_FAIL DCFB Input has failed. GEI-100028 for DCFB attached. Screenshot is from GEH-6121 EX2000 Startup, Adjustment, and Troubleshooting, which is apparently too large to attach. If you have the EX2000 Elementary Diagram you'll find that the DCFB connects to the SHVI via IA1PL. I can't say why exactly 170 came in or if there is some very common reason why it comes in, but that's a place to start.

 

I've split GEH-6121 into two volumes so its small enough to attach. V1 is pages 1-100, V2 is 101-238. Both are searchable. Ctrl+f and search for IA1.

I have changed the SHVM Board and checked the cables between the DCFB and the SHVM, I am still coming up with the same (FL170....IA1 fail) code on the EX2000...I have checked all the voltages on the DCFB and all are good, It almost looks like the screen is "frozen" with that code, also FL16 is the other code on the Exciter. I was wondering if you knew a way to flash the Exciter easily?
