Flashing LEDs not in unison in "R" processor

Hi Everyone,

Compliments to everyone.

Please I have a challenge with my Mark VI "R" controller.
There was a sudden power ottage on the Mark VI Controllers (The batteries failed and the AC supply tripped)
.
After restoring power to the cabinet, I rebooted the controllers only to find out that the flashing LEDs on "R" processor are not synched (not flashing in unison). I also noticed that flashing LED on the VPRO "X" in not in unison with that of "Y" and "Z". But "S" and "T" processor rebooted normal (with the all the flashing LEDs in unison. Even the "Y" and "Z" flashing LEDs are in unison with those of "S" and "T" processors).

I have removed and re-installed the IONET connectors (both on the processors and the VPROs), yet the problem still persist. I also replaced the VPRO "X" with another working VPRO "X" from another unit. Yet the problem still persist.

Pls any idea on what next to do?

Regards.

Arthur.

Is it Mark VI or Mark VIe -Migrated ?
Which Processor you are using ?

If its vintage Mark VI, then check the compact flash health.
Most likely either its corrupted or damaged.

NOTE: Getting the vintage Compact Flash (in MBs) is almost impossible in market.

The CMOS battery are used only for maintaining the RTC & not the programs.
Even if these battries die (Typical 4 to 5 years life from manufactured) only the clock time will change during reboots, which will get auto corrected by NTP (Provided its working good)

The IP Address is "Flashed " into the compact Flash (CF).
If required, you may set it serially.
Anyways, the original issue is aleady resolved by replacing the faulty CF.
