Are gate cycle models built per plant or common to units, i.e. one model for all 9FA's or on per unit. How do I find the gate cycle form my unit?

What I know so far is that the Gate cycle is a software application that is used to design, and or help to optimise the thermal efficiency of a thermal power plant.

 

Gate cycle models are custom built for each plant. While the basic model for a 9FA gas turbine is mostly the same from one plant to the next, the plant model will differ because no 2 plants are really identical - different steam turbines, different HRSG's, different condensers, etc.

The model is mainly used to monitor and optimize performance of a combined cycle power plant.
