Is anyone have simulation of gas turbine operation from start up until operation, any thing. thanks

How about 3KeyMaster? I was wondering if I would like to develop, what I would need? I read online regarding 3KEYMASTER and it seems great. How much diff to develop?

I'm guessing you're looking for something free, and you should know that many companies are in the business of selling these simulations. They are not simple or easy to develop, and the problem is that many people buy inexpensive simulations and then want to use them for plant modeling and analysis and get very perturbed when they don't provide very accurate information.

You should define your need (simulation for familiarization and training; simulation for plant modeling and analysis; etc.) and then start your search appropriately. Realizing full well that one gets what one pays for.

One of the most effective training "simulations" I've seen was produced by plant personnel using screen capture software (it was done using a now-unavailable IBM application) recording unit start-ups. It was very effective, and useful for teaching operators and technicians what a good start-up and shut-down looked like and they said it was very useful for troubleshooting.

thanks for information, yes i was search for simulation of gas turbine operation for free. especially GE turbine but i have search and not find what CSA said. maybe CSA can tell me what name of simulation is, thanks.

Dudiw,

I know for certain that GE provides simulations, but I also know for certain they are not free.

I don't know of anyone who provides simulations for free.

I have heard that some Yokogawa DCS control system integrators have been providing turbine control simulations.

I would suggest using your preferred Internet search engine (perhaps two or three of them, because I'm finding vastly different results these days, with Google's results tending more toward certain "vendors" than others) and looking for a publisher of the software you are looking for. Use different search words and terms, trying to think of ways people might market or describe their product. Don't be afraid to look at some seemingly unrelated search results to get ideas for different search terms and words.

Please write back with your results!
