Hi,
My name is James and I am relatively new to the emerson control process system and how it works. Ive actually been doing electrical work inside of industrial refining/ gas plants for the past 3 years yet have only began to brush over the emerson delta v/ hart system recently. Does anyone have any idea where I might learn more about how this process works, including communication with the control center at these plants? I have already looked into the emerson websites for some learning experience, but $2400 seems a little excessive. HELP!!!!!!

I am not a DeltaV expert; however, have you checked the PlantWeb University section of their web site? There is free courseware in the "Engineering School" section that seems to cover some of your topics.

There also is an online community, Emerson Exchange 365, where you can converse with DeltaV experts.
