Hello,
I did a brief search in this forum but didn't find quite what I'm looking for.
I need an overview of Modbus RTU and what sets it apart from Modbus/TCP or any other Modbus protocol for that matter.
I've scoured the internet but came up pretty much empty except for a few lines that mention that RTU is in Binary as opposed to ASCII. I'm looking for more depth than that.
So if you've found a good overview somewhere on the net, please share. Any help would be appreciated.
