Is there is any standard or any paper help in define the proper type of cable to be used with each instruments and its application how we select cable for any instrument how we descide to choice ARMOURED cable or not ,SINGLE PAIRS SHIELD or TOTAL SHIELD ,FLAME RETARDANT etc...?

 

I also want to know about this. But I think there are some books to talking about this.

 

Here is the link to a typical description. You should normally use a twisted shielded pair for each instrument. Twisted shielded triad for RTD, twisted shielded thermocouple extension cable (matched to thermocouple type). The cable should be armoured or run in conduit if it's subject to mechanical damage.
