Lenze FB editor

Hi all, first post here. Does anyone know of, or have, a good tutorial on Lenze FB editor for 9300 servo drives?

I now have to look after a lot of aging servo drives of the 93xx variety and I have GDC full & PLC studio for Lenze. I am a controls engineer and Rockwell trained, most experienced on Parker & AB drives so Lenze are very different in a lot of ways, especially the FB editor.

I'm working on a project where a set of 8 servos work together to turn a large rotating machine and one of them is blown out. Looking for a good tutorial so I can understand how the FB side works and how to read the blocks. It's probably second nature if you're trained on Lenze but to me it's very non intuitive.

I have the manuals but they are of limited help.

Hi...
Ive used this drive moons ago ....also done a course at Lenze. The couse was less than a day it was basically PLC code...
Have you tried youtube??..I done a quick search seems to be a lot there.
Its been a while since a layed hands on the drive but it was really a matter of hours to get around the software...I suggest you give Lenze a call...
Im sure subsea7 is not short on funds with the current prices of crude.

Thanks, I don't work for SS7 but have been involved in the past and like the name. I did search YT but all the tutorials there seem to be for DDS PLC FB's, not the old FB Editor in the drive software (GDC 4.14) - Lenze no longer support it as it is long since obsolete unfortunately. The thing about the GDC FB Editor is that it doesn't show you the whole schematic and they use non intuitive terms. AIN1-OUT is an analogue input...? I did get the "manual" on it from someone in Lenze so after trawling around I sort of get it, but it's written for Lenze by Lenze so it assumes things you may not already know. This is the real old school stuff with basically 3 boxes joined by a square, circle or triangle and the terms they use are not obvious. These drives are 25 years old and so is the code. Thanks anyway, I think I have gotten as far as I needed - just wondered if anyone had a link for a good tutorial for non Lenze guys.
