I'm someone who's searching for training in Instrumentation and Controls and prefer a votech or college environment, preferably less than 2 years. I'm older and don't have time for a 5 yr apprenticeship. I've found a few interesting programs and can see which ones look meatier. Asking anyone if they know of trade schools or colleges that focuses on these and has a good reputation.

No problem if it covers electrical certification as well. I was the only student in a mechatronics program to pass every cert, but then got some bad luck. I'm particularly interesting pharmaceuticals and possibly O&G.

Check out "RealPars" Channel on YouTube... I believe that may be a good option for you... I say "YouTube" because RealPars has a bunch of examples of videos of anything you are looking for, as the teach all methods of control on THEIR website, for a few. I am not part of the org, nor do I get anything for recommending anyone... I'm just a industrial controls electrician who was really impressed by their YouTube channel.
