Dear all, I work with a gas turbine 9E version mark Vle, for a few hours we lost power supply to the plant causing loss of DC GT voltage, after power restoration, when powering the peecc led light boot of the controller R flashes, the controller S is ok, while controller T does not connect online. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

 

It would be helpful to know:

1) What the sequence of power-up was after plant AC power was restored?

2) Was the Mark* VIe powered down before the loss of DC GT voltage (current)?

3) What you've done to troubleshoot the problem--and what the results were?

1) Nós simplesmente reabastecemos o PEECC ligando o disjuntor CA principal sem seguir nenhuma sequência e, assim, energizamos o Marck VIe.
2) O Marck VIe não foi desligado antes da perda de tensão CC, ele desligou porque a vida útil da bateria (CC) acabou.
3) Cortamos a energia desligando o disjuntor CA (Q233) e CC (Q122) simultaneamente, desligando o Marck VI e após 10 minutos ligamos o MARCK VIe novamente. Repetimos esse processo 3 vezes. Resultado, os controladores “R” e “T” não iniciam, o LED de inicialização em ambos os controladores pisca, apenas o controlador “S” funciona (on line).

Yes, I did it twice after we noticed this problem on the "R" controller, now the "T" controller also has the same problem, the "S" controller is the only one that is working normally.

Please reinitialize the controller from an USB 2.0, 4GB or 8 GB pen drive, following the steps recommended in
GEH-6700 rev AY page 572 OR section 7.4.1.3 Configure and Transfer IP Address to UCSB/UCSC/UCSE Controller
(OR) if available may refer to the retired document GEH-6703 (Rev Q or higher ) Sec 7.4.1.3 Configure and Transfer IP Address to UCSB / UCSC Controller.

Strongly recommend to get in touch with the OEM.
They have a permanent fix for this issue in the form a software patch.
Their patch numbering scheme are very confusing to follow.

Are we beginning to understand that in the technical world, at least with respect to purpose-built turbine control systems, AI-generated responses are usually going to be pretty ... useless. The Mark* V LE has nothing to do with the issue in this thread.

 

Have you tried booting the controller memory using a USB 2.0 flash drive? If you go to device then download to USB it is pretty straightforward
