Can some one explain that what is the difference if we connect the measurment CTs in STAR configuration and DELTA configuration?

 

Panthripu... if the CT secondary’s are delta-connected, then how are the watt-meter 'coils' (or other measuring elements) connected?

CT are to be connected to the transducer used connect them to PLC. Transducers are 0-5A to 4-20mA.

Wye-connected CTs will properly yield the three line-current values, Ia, Ib, and Ic! However, Delta-connected CTs will yield the three vector sums, Ia-Ic, Ib-Ia, & Ic-Ib, respectively!
