MKV Studio

Dudiw,

Please provide us with more information when you post about the problem(s) you are having and what you've done to try to resolve the problem(s).

Mark V Studio is pretty simple and easy, for the majority of users. I've never had this kind of problem but I really don't understand the problem you are having.

I'm not sure that just copying the executable from one PC to another will work. I think you need the "install" executable, but I'm not sure about that.

From your previous post about this issue:

>Yes, i was just copy and execute the
>mkv studio program in my notebook and i
>also copied the csp file so i can open
>the csp file in mkv studio but still not
>working properly because i can't see the
>rung so i can't click the rung. help me
>please.

When you say you "... can't see the run so [you] can't click the rung...." what do you mean? Is there information, but it's just not in a "viewer-friendly" font? I've had problems with an incompatible font. Check the Fonts Control Panel applet of the HMI you copied the Mark V Studio executable from and see if there is one or both of these two fonts installed:

MS Line Draw, or, fp_csp

Then check the PC you have copied Mark V Studio on and see if either of those fonts is installed. If not, you should copy one or both of the fonts from the HMI to the PC, install them using the Fonts Control Panel applet, then open Mark V Studio and select either font to use for viewing CSP files. Then try opening the file again.

When you start Mark V Studio, how are you opening the CSP.PRN file? Are you clicking on 'File' then 'Open' from the Mark V Studio menu bar, then selecting the CSP.PRN file?

I think I've heard of problems if the CSP_XREF.PRN file is not also in the same directory.

Other than that, I can't provide any more info, partly because it's not clear exactly what problem you're having. Help us to help you by providing as much information as possible when you post to get a quick and concise response.

Thanks for Mr.CSA, i finally found the problem with your help, indeed it a simple and easier. what i mean the rung is yes it's the line draw to display the rung because the MARK V Studio that i use in my pc is alot of abstract text that make me confused and not see the line draw. but with your information the problem is found is in the font but i don't use as you suggest because i can't find the ms line draw or fp_csp because the HMI data disk i've got is broken so i use the font one by one and finally i found with the font terminal and it the same with my computer work, thanks.
