Modsoft is an obsolete DOS based programming package. No longer sold. It was used to program in 984LL (Ladder Logic). The modern equivalent of Modsoft is Proworx 32 which runs under Windows 2000, or Windows XP Pro, NOT VISTA.

Contact your local Schneider Electric for prices. You should be able to get a Demo / Trial CD ROM Free of Charge, to try it out.

You can take a Modosft application out of an old Modicon Micro (also obsolete) with Proworx 32.

 

Have a look at PLC-Workshop by FastTrack Softworks at http://www.fast-soft.com/page.php?22.

We tried their PLC Software for SQD PLCs and it worked fine under Windows XP Pro. I will guess their "PLC Workshop for Modicon 32Bits" will work as well. You can download a demo, but I think you will not be able to go online with the demo.
