Hi:
I'm trying to find out what type of relays
are using in modern days PLC. For example, are
they PCB mount type or just a regular type mounted
to chassis and wired to the controller board?
The former seems to be more expensive. Also, are these relays need to be power relays?
I saw some general purpose relays that also has
high contact rating. So I'm not sure which one
should I use?
Another question that I'd like to ask is about the
`high-speed' input. I saw some interface circuits
and it seems to me that the difference between
the regular and `high-speed' input are just the
way resistor and capacitance are connected after
the optoisolator. Can anyone help me understanding
this difference?
Thank you very much,
Suttipan Limanond.
