I notice PROFIBUS Standard - DP Specification in Profibus website that says It can be purchased from the IEC Website. However I search a document which is called "Normative Parts of PROFIBUS -FMS, -DP, -PA according to the European Standard Edition 1.0 March 1998 EN 50 170 Volume 2" edited by Profibus.

What is different between "PROFIBUS Standard - DP Specification" and "Normative Parts of PROFIBUS -FMS, -DP, -PA according to the European Standard Edition 1.0 March 1998 EN 50 170 Volume 2"

Is it the latest edition? If not,where can I find the latest edition.

Any advice will be appreciated

The "PROFIBUS Standard - DP specification" provides the specification of the DP, DP-V1 and DP-V2 protocols. This spec is part of the international standard IEC 61158.

The paper "Normative Parts of PROFIBUS -FMS, -DP, -PA according to the European Standard Edition 1.0 March 1998 EN 50 170 Volume 2" is part of the older european standard EN 50 170 and specifies the FMS, DP, and PA protocol. DP-V1 and DP-V2 are not included.
