I am using Rosemount 3300 mulitivariable level transmitter with Honeywell TDC 3000 DCS. Is it required to use TRILOOP to have only level indication in DCS?
No, as long as the 3300 is configured for "Level" as the PV on the Analog OP, you should be able to see the level on the mA PV no problem. If you want more than one variable "distance" or Interface level" for example, then you would need to assign those variables to the SV, TV, QV, etc. and then configure and range the tri-loop to match....
