Are there any sensor manufacturers that supports matching sensor accessories customization service, such as flange, screw etc.?

 

Instrument vendors tend to offer the options that are common to their industry and if they don't, their competitors do.

One typically "customizes" an instrument purchase by selecting the options for the intended service and its conditions with resulting field instrument model or part numbers that are 10-30 digits long, each digit or set of digits representing some particular customized feature.

The price you will pay for something out of the ordinary, which does not appear on the spec sheet as an option, like 12" NPT screwed connections for a globe valve rather than conventional flange connections, might well make you re-consider whether the premium special charge and extended delivery is worth it.

Isn't this obvious from looking at a couple vendor spec sheets?

 

Instrument manufacturers, at least the most important ones, have special departments for out of standard products. There is a big number of them, such as special process connections or exotic alloys, that are already present in their "specials" database, thus having already price and delivery available. One example: steam heated jacket for radar antennas to be used with sticky products e.g. molten sulfur. Other requests, not already present, are examined and if feasible quoted and then realized. Obviously prices can raise consistently
