Many people assume a microwave waveguide is a standard component, but that's not always the case. In industrial microwave equipment, the installation space, connection direction, and transmission path often vary from project to project.

Instead of modifying the equipment to fit a standard waveguide, the waveguide is machined to match the required connection channels and equipment layout. The available WR340/WR430 models also feature water cooling, making them suitable for continuous industrial microwave applications.

For custom-built microwave equipment, matching the waveguide to the system design is often the more practical approach.
