I have SIEMENS PG laptop. My problem are when i try to download, upload, online with PLC step7-300 at the machine failed. The message show please setting MPI/Profibus interface manually. I have tried set at PG/PC setting, but still same. Please help me to solve this problem.

 

Could you give the PG/PC setting of your PG?

You have o set it MPI. You might have selected an incorrect interface setting.

(Options=> Set PG/PC interface)

please check your PG/PC interface. follow this path:

Simatic Manager> options> Set PG/PC interface> access path> select PC adaptor (MPI) interface (as it is s7-300 system)>
properties> MPI> uncheck the PG/PC Master, address=1, timeout=30 ms, transmission rate=187.5 kbps, highest station add=31> local connection, com1(as your PG), rate=38400, uncheck apply settings.

then view accessible nodes. probably it will work.

Try going to Options - Set PG/PC Interface and select CP5512 (Auto) (or any CP you have). Then try to start Autodetection. If error comes, check it out. You can also try setting CP5512 (MPI) or CP5512(Profibus) and going running the communication diagnostics. The eventual error number could be a hint too.
