We have recently come out of a HGP on one of our GE 7FA gas turbines (natural gas fired only). GE had difficulty tuning after the outage and left the unit with higher than normal NOx and oxygen readings.
We have since noticed that the makeup of the NOx has changed when compared to the pre HGP value. Prior to the HGP our NOx was comprised of almost entirely NO with trace amounts of NO2. This lined up with the values seen on our other gas turbine.
Now, we see around 12ppm NOx with around 8ppm being NO and 4ppm being NO2.
Has anyone seen this before?
