Hi. I hope I am in the right place to get some help. I have an older swim spa and the VFD that controls the 2hp motor for the current propeller went out. The swim spa has a 10 button panel for controlling the speed incrementally. None of what I have is available any longer. Is it possible to just buy a vfd that works with the motor and setup a remote speed control, even if it just a dial of some sort? If so, can I get some help on where to start? Thank you.

 

Sounds to me that is simply all you need. 1.5Kw VFD utilising the AI1 0-10v input with a simple pot (usually around 10k 1/2W or whatever the manufacturer recommends).
