A
I work for a pharmaceutical industry and i need to measure the thickness of a film of gelatine. This film has some unique characteristics:
- Thickness range: 10-40 thousandths of an inch
- Color: we have variations of color from translucent to opaque and transparent
- The film is in motion
- The width is from 7 to 10 inches
- The surface in a part of the process has lubricant, this is not a limitant because the lubrication can be done after the thickness measurement.
Some sensor have been recommended to me as the gamma, capacitive, etc. But i'm not sure about wich decision is best for this application.
I will appreciate your help,
Thank you,
Alexandra
