Tristation MSW virtual DOS environment

Looking for experiences, good and bad, with running Triconex Tristation MSW in a virtual/VMWare DOS environment, serial communications. This will be a short term solution until we upgrade to v9 with TS1131 software.

i passed a whole month trying to connect to a tricon, via NCM with dos6.22 in VMware and virtual PC, but no way, even though the MSW312 is well configured.
