Using two MVI94 MCM with flex IO

I'm trying to figure out how to communicate two MVI94 MCM (one on each flex station) prosoft cards on one compact logix processor. I am new to programming and while i've picked up on RS Logix 5000 very well i'm still have a lot of insecurities on Modbus communications. Does anyone have any experience in dealing with this scenario?
