So we need to get feed from 125Vdc for 110Vdc, from new battery charger and remove the old ones. Any ideas how to do that?

Q1) Do you mean you need to provide a 110 Vdc Load from a 125 Vdc Source?
Q2) Are the Negative side of both Load and Source grounded/earthed?
Q3) What is the maximum Amperes of the Load?

1. Yes, we have few old Battery chargers and want to get rid of them since nearby battery chargers are dual redundant and have ample spare capacity but problem is they are newer ones with 125V dc and older boards are 110V rated.
2. From where we want to source they are 125Vdc 65Ampere, loading is not an issue since we have single 3.3KV board in each older substation so maximum 10A.
3. initially, we were thinking to reduce voltage by removing a cell and make it 119Vdc but newer boards spring charge motor in new substations are 125Vdc rated.

4. I did study Electronics but Majored in Power Generation, transmission, and distribution being involved in the HV side of things mostly.

Then I suggest purchasing a DC-DC Converter having the capacity and ranges you need!

I don't think we would have such DC-DC in the market, do you have any other suggestions?

 

A quick search of a brand I've used before (but not for this) found me this power supply:

It has a 10A output, accepts a 110-150VDC input and outputs 48-56VDC. They can be wired in series to get you to 110VDC.
I'm very sure that other brands have similar products.
