Folks, I am looking for information on a new ABB product AC800 HI (High Integrity?). Have searched ABB website and Google but no joy.

Any help appreciated.

 

Should be an Asea Brown Boveri Variable Frequency Ivnerter. I'll check further and post if no reply to the contrary.

 

AC800 is the new ABB controller, don't know what HI stands for. ACS800 is the Frequency Inverter.

AC800 HI Stand for High Integrity (SIL)

 

Why don't we check the ABB web site? Here's what I did:

1. www.abb.com
2. searched for "high integrity"
3. selected "high integrity controllers"
4. got 1560 hits

Via the link below I see that it is SIL3. There are plenty of links to brochures, white papers, and more.
