Hello. We also face the same issue. Remote command for open and close was configured as Dry contact. Are these supposed to be wet type?

Depends on the what incoming discrete signal is?

Is the incoming discrete signal dry contacts, like relay contacts with no voltage connected to either contact?

Or is the incoming signal a DC or AC signal that has a voltage (wet)?

Hi David. The discrete signals (open closefeedback/localremote/fault) were all dry contact and were working.

The commands however open/close does not work with the current dry configuration.

 

The commands need 24VDC control voltage to activate them. Without power, they will not work.

Jumpering internally did not work. This required external vdc. It worked!

I'm working on the same Auma Actuator and am not able to get my Open/Close/Stop commands to work on pins 4,5,6 and 7. It mentions that pin 7 in my 0V. Does the actuator produce the 24VDC needed or do I need to supply from my RTU cabinet?
